I finished the book on saturday, but this weekend everything was out off control with my internet so my update for this week TBRIC will be today. 

I loved the book, and now I can't wait for the next one. Is very fun and entertaining. In my head I compared to Rick Riordan's percy Jackson series, maybe because of the gods, or maybe because of the test she's been throught, almost like Percy himself. Just with a little more steamy scenes, kisses and all.

WHY I CHOOSE THIS BOOK: I liked the summary since my first read but the cover gives me the yipes, but this time it won't pass me buy. Since next week start my finishing exams, the reading will have to be slow, maybe I'll finished before saturday, but if I don't I'm giving it two weeks period this time.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

My Thoughts:

This was a fun book to read and a really romantic one. At least that's what someone would expect from the first chapter after the fun visit to the fortune-teller. Gemma doesn't believe but her friend insist so much for her to go and afterwards every prediction comes true, she start second guessing her actions toward Nick.

Nick has three friends that are hillarious especially since they think what to expect and how to react after what a woman says or do. His friends are all married and Nick sees their lives and want that for himself, especially after he meets Gemma.

The story really is about how she could get rid of him and on the other end he wants to know more about her. After she took a fake baby home, and he was perfect, I'll would marry him and forget about predictions.

Nick was perfect all the book, even when she needed to understand how to really believe in herself.

You Might Enjoy This Book If:

You like a good romance where the boy suffers all the book.

I saw this on Dazzling Reads, and decided to jump on this thing. The Capitol website you can register yourself as a Panem citizen to get your Distric Identification! I got Distric 12, yay!!! Go identify yourself and get your District ID pass! Is super fun, I'll let you guys see mine...

And they also have Panem seals, it took me a minute to realize that the center is different, check it out.

I've just finished Ecstasy Untamed so I think my choice is a little because of the book, but I wanted to be a bird, a flamingo actually they are so pretty, and don't care about the world. They must have a very beautiful life.

The answer: 

The Lord of the rings, I bought the three books in one edition in full english, and it was my first book in english. I already knew a lot about english, but is a big book and the author has created a whole world of mitic creature. It was my choice and I don't regreat it, cause it make reading a lot more easy after I finish this one.

My Thoughts:

Lucas Vasco is a FBI agent who in the first chapter was working undercover but had to get away to save his life and when his car stop in the middle of a highway his only choice is to catch a ride with a homan, and worst off all a civilian.

Katie was only going home after a tiring day at the new job when a atranger gets in her tiny car, who also has a name, but I won't say not to spoil it the fun.

The truth is that they never saw each other but Lucas hasa photo off Katie when she was just a teenager and amazing as that sounds he fall in love with her.

But the bad guys start to follow their lead and Katie has to hide on the best place is Lucas house.

The book is all about hiding, running, and car racing, but they do dealt with their fellings in the end.

You Might Enjoy This Book If:

You like a good police book, with a tinny romance.

Why I Started This Book:

I couldn't stop reading after the huge cliff Richelle left in the first book.

My Thoughts:

I liked the fact that Georgina has found a way to continue her relationship with Seth, even though sex is a big issue for most couples, for this is huge problem taking in consideration that Seth is a good guy and make it harder for Georgie to control herself, as seen in the last book, how bad it almost ended.

Also another plus fact for this book, is the drug problem, especially since they live in a different kind of world and the author find a way to speak about the drugs problem, envolving especially the artists.

Another then, I wish for just one book that Jerome and Carter could speak freealy about what is happening, cause is weird how quiet and the looks they share. At least a little suspect.

This one didn't exactly finish in one cliff, but at least leave open to another one on the series.

You Might Enjoy This Book If:

You liked the first one and couldn't put it down, plus there are vampires and angels in this series, how could ot be better?

“Sometimes I do. Sometimes I look at him...and I remember how it was when I kissed him and felt that love. It makes me want that back. I want to feel it again. I want to return to it. Other times though...other times, I'm so scared. I listen to these guys...and to Jerome...and then the doubts gnaw at me. I can't get them out of my head. We've been sleeping together, you know. Literally. It hasn't been a problem so far, but sometimes I lie awake watching him, thinking this can't last. The longer it does...I feel like...like I'm standing on a high wire, with Seth at one end and me at the other. We're trying to reach each other, but one misstep, one breeze, one side-glance, and I'll fall over the edge. And keep falling and falling."

Carter leaned toward me and brushed the hair away from the side of my face. "Don't look down then," he whispered.” 

 “You had your heart broken much?”

He paused. “Of course. Everyone does. Part of life.”

“Tell me her name. I’ll kick her ass. I don’t want anyone hurting you.”

He rested his face against my hair, his tone even and gentle when he spoke. “You’re wondrous and powerful and gifted, but even you can’t save me from hurting. No one can do that for anyone. I can make things perfect in the fictions I create, but the real world isn’t so kind. That’s just how it is. And anyway, for every bad thing in life, there are more good things to tip the balance.”

“Like what?”

“Like little blonde nieces. And royalty checks. And you.”
