Review:

This cover is a little better but it's still strange for me. Curran made me so mad in the beginning of this book, after all the work and the drama I really thought Kate would have a normal date night, but His Furiness stood her up and never even explained why. Then all hell broke loose with plagues and family appearing from thin air. Kate's past is back to haunt her and it was really difficult for her to protect the people she cares about.

I liked the story and it was nice to finally see someone from Kate's family. It's always spoken about their great power, but this was actually the first time to see someone with that amount of power. Kate suffered a lot to understand the chaos and control the situation. It's was dangerous from page one and I really liked this book.

Curran came around and we finally have some happy time. It was perfect seeing these two together, because Curran was strong and very powerful. It was really great to watch these two manage the everyday life as a couple because neither is the type to let go. This was a great book, but Curran attitude made me so mad at first.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Summary:

After being unceremoniously dumped by her long-time boyfriend, Stacy Washington hits one of the hottest clubs in town with her best friend, Nina. Stacy decides it's time to shed her good girl persona by letting go of her inhibitions. Relationships are trouble; casual sex is simple.

When she sees sexy bartender, Evan, she's instantly intrigued by his dark, good looks and his killer smile. Before she has a chance to get to know him better, an equally sexy prospect comes her way and this one is ready to play. Justin's not shy about telling Stacy exactly what he wants. She plans to have her way with both him and Evan until she finds out they're close friends. This could be awkward or this could be the most exhilarating experience of Stacy's life. She decides to take the plunge by coming between friends--in more ways than one.

Review:

This was a novella, but I found it completely strange to end with a cliffhanger. Still don't understand why they couldn't just make a novel  with the entire story. There's not a lot waiting to happen with these three. I liked Stacy and the way she took control of her love life and decided to change. But she's too insecure to actually participate in a menage relationship with these tow guys, because for me Justin and Evan are a bit on the controlling side and this could become a bad situation way too fast.

I liked Nina and she was a great friend to Stacy, always helping her see the big picture and trying to put some different thoughts on the line, their conversations are nice and without judgment. I liked Nina and it would be nice to read a book with her finding love and a great guy.

The story was nice and the guys were a good thing, but Stacy needs to learn more about life and her positions. I think this time apart is going to help her a lot.

Review:

The first thing that crossed my mind after reading this summary was not Derek. He’s the boy wonder and Kate got really attached to him during the first two books, but the worst part wasn’t this. After starting this book I realized that Jim was not that smart and during all this he was lying to Curran.

So Kate had to save the day and the boy wonder, but the Curran barely appeared during the first half in this book and I was really hoping for the development in their relationship. So after all the danger and the running Curran finally appeared and things really heated on the hot tube.

I liked the investigation in this book because it was a different kind of mythology and Kate managed to impress everyone with her powers. He secret is pretty much out and now she’s afraid of dear father.

I liked this book, but didn’t like some of His Furriness attitude, it was a nice story and I got some confused during the explanation, but Kate saved the night and Curran saved Kate later, so win-win.
