Jump into the fire
Severo Dante and his brothers had always dismissed rumors of the Inferno--an explosive desire that overtakes Dante men when they first see their soul mates. Then Severo met jewelry designer Francesca Sommers and was astonished by their raw, urgent, mutual attraction. A rising star at a rival company, Francesca has crafted a dazzling new collection that could ruin Severo's plans to rebuild the Dante empire. His solution: blackmail her into becoming his employee--and his fiancée--until their smoldering affair runs its course. But some fires, once lit, can never be extinguished...
My Thoughts:
I like a good romance with attraction at first sight, because love usually is built during the book, but this story was not my favorite form the author. And I ended up reading more to see the rest of the family than the actual romance.
Severo doesn't believe in the inferno, some crazy attraction that affects his family from centuries and after watching his parents fighting all his life, he doesn’t want that relationship for himself and tries to scape this legendary curse, but when it happened to him things started to look a little different and he could have changed the attitude, but stuck to being an asshole.
Francesca could stopped Severo since the beginning. He treated her really bad and even blackmailed her, if the relationship had gone wrong her entire life could be destroyed. He made her get fired, lose contact with her father, get in a fight with a friend.
Severo is not the worst character, but he could have changed and chose not to, even after knowing Francesca was going to be his HEA.
