I’m loving this series and Gin is always in the middle of something dangerous and deadly, but what I loved in this book, besides her revenge against Mab, is the fact she finally accepted help from the family and found some time for awesome Owen. I just love him and how he just wants to be with her, without judging and running for the hills.

 

But this book had a bunch of new information's and it feels like it ended too fast. Gin is picking Mab's men and silently destroying her army, but Mab is the best at being bad and she paid another assassin to end with this nonsense.

 

Just loved seeing this deadly side of Mab and how much is bothering her what Gin is doing. Plus there’s more evil than ever, because La Fleur, the other assassin, is also an elemental and she’s loves the thrill of a new death.

 

But on the sidelines we have Gin struggling to talk with Bria and is adorable the way she, Gin-assassin, doesn’t know what to do. I just loved the end and Christmas is one of my favorite times in books. Everything ends in a big party with lots of drinking.
