This the second book in this series and the main plot is a marriage because the King of Vloyarus thinks is the best for the country. The first book explained a real love story, but this one started different because these two characters never met before and Demyan had to seduce Chanel until she accepted the wedding.

I have no idea how she managed to stay virgin for this long but Demyan was super sweet about it and we can clearly see he is touched by her admit ion and the reasons why she wants him to be her first. I actually liked these two together and even if Demyan would never chose Chanel without a secret motive, it was fun to watch these two falling in love. Demyan really needed some love after the way his family accepted all those years.

But my main issue was Chanel mother and the way she kept acting. I simply hated her stepfather and in the end her mother did explain but the reasons weren’t good enough for me. So 3 stars because of it.

no. Still getting to know one another and who knows what or who would show up (in the mean time) to wreck havoc. Unless the love is strong enough, no way.

I don't think I'd marry anyone I knew just for a couple of weeks. I believe that know each other first is the foundation of strong relationship.
Thanks for the giveaway. I really like to read 'fake' engagement story ;p

No... I don't believe you can make that mind of commitment that fast. This book sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

No, I couldn't marry someone that quickly. I think you need to give the relationship time enough to get through the honeymoon phase of the relationship. Face it, everything is bliss for the first year or two! I want to know whether we can handle what comes AFTER!

Thanks for the giveaway!

No, don't know the person that well

BookLady disse...

No, I would not marry that quickly. I would need to know the person much longer before making a commitment.

Kim Pinch disse...

No, I would not marry someone after only a couple of weeks. It take a lot longer than that to really know a person and see if you are compatible.
