I'm in awe with this book. It was rough. It was that kind of book that no matter how much you want to go to sleep, you can't put it down. That "just one more page" turns into "one more chapter" and when you least expect it, you're way deep into the acknowledgements, wishing to read Losing Hope straight away to get more insight to this story from Holder's perspective.
Sky and Holder were amazing characters. The chemistry between them was electrifying, but most importantly, they had this thing to find humor, despite the circumstances. It was impressive their ability to crack a smile when everything was wrong, and I deeply admired them for it.
I also loved the way Holder took his time to think every word he was going to say. Always looking for the perfect words, and when there were none, silence was beyond perfect. And, Sky's way to react to judgments is something I wish I had in me, to not let anyone step over me and to not care about what people think.
Tough issues are dealt here, ones that go deeper than the ones we face day by day. Ones that we wish would never happen, the ones that make the sky and stars fall around us, leaving you in pitch darkness. Alone. Hopeless.
Read this book, you will swoon and love it just like I did. Trust me.
