Book Blurb:

Sheikh Prince Ibrahim refuses to bow to the duty that has destroyed his family, by locking away his emotions and shunning his royal responsibility. Georgie is just the kind of woman duty demands he should avoid—streetwise, troubled and not interested in being queen—exactly the challenge Ibrahim seeks. Trapped among the swirling sands, in the burning heart of the desert, Georgie finally surrenders to the brooding rebel prince—yet the law of his land decrees that she can never really be his.…

My Thoughts:

I love some with sheikh’s, don’t know if is because they are always alpha male or some sexiness mixed with the erotic encounters they always provide. The desert does bring a different setting for seduction.

Georgie had some problems during her teenager stage and her family is still over protecting her, afraid that she will fall again. Her sister has married an sheikh and now is constantly trying to make her move from London to babysit her new niece. Georgie is trying to start a new career, but memories from a man in her sister wedding continue to shade her life.

That man is sheikh Ibrahim, brother-in-law to Geogie sister and a womanizer. He has some problems in accept a few rules and decided to live in London closer to his mother. But Georgie can’t live he’s head, because she was the only one who ever said no to him. The chemistry between these two is really strong and when they meet things start to grow a hole new level.

I like how Georgie really showed maturity and her showed her family that she’s fine and can take care of her life alone, without guidance. Ibrahim for me was kinda perfect, trying to show to his family that the world has changed and some rules needed an addendum. He decided to live in London because some things were unacceptable and that shows a great deal about him.

Together these two just needed to understand some differences and the romance was really sweet.

I remember when I was a teenager and reading Bodice Rippers (I was mature for my age --we will go with that)--the Sheik books were always my favorite. I will have to read this one because they are deliciously alpha :)
