My Thoughts:
This is the third book featuring Marisa and Luc. We met them both on the first book and of course got to see their relationship process. Marisa is Trey little sister and Luc is Trey best friend and agent. So these two know each other for a very long time and the romance could grow.
This is book is more for us to understand why Luc is so opposite to marriage and kids, but a dating is fine. He needs to overcame some past mistakes and trust people around him. Interesting part is that no even Trey knew about his secrets. It took some time for him to actually open up, but I liked how the author showed some flaws in the characters, making them more real.
Marisa is like the perfect girl, but she decided to live and find someone who could give her a future since Luc was out of question. It took her years to admit he wasn’t going to change and that showed me how much she really loves him.
I liked the fact this two already dated and of course there’s chemistry, plus Luc deserves some happiness after everything that happened to him.
