Book Blurb:
Without the evil vampire Bishop ruling over the town of Morganville, the resident vampires have made major concessions to the human population. With their newfound freedoms, Claire Danvers and her friends are almost starting to feel comfortable again...
Now Claire can actually concentrate on her studies, and her friend Eve joins the local theatre company. But when one of Eve's castmates goes missing after starting work on a short documentary, Eve suspects the worst. Claire and Eve soon realize that this film project, whose subject is the vampires themselves, is a whole lot bigger-and way more dangerous-than anyone suspected.
My Thoughts:
For the first time months has passed on Morganville, this book is set the hole six months after the big ending from Bishop rules. And after the storm now the city is still getting back together and vampires and humans are also in a new era.
I thought there was something strange with that Kim since the first moment, for once everyone is kinda nervous around Claire because they don’t know what to expect from the favorite human Amelie has in years and second Eve was blind sided by her.
We get some explanations for Eve behavior, but as previous book I was expecting more from her and Shane did step up on this one especially after we discovered he and Kim had a fling awhile back.
Michael is still struggling with being the only vampire living in the Glass House and now his relationship with Eve kinda start to show a bit stress.
Myrnin is back to “normal” whatever that means and now the problem is Ava, not that anyone can see that besides Claire of course.
So now is all about jealous! Claire is jealous from Kim old relationship with Shane and the new with Eve. Ava is jealous from Claire and Myrnin spending much time together. Drama! Drama. But the book is good, but I still prefer the two with Bishop, more action is my thing.
